Ray Banks has been a double-glazing salesman, croupier and various degrees of disgruntled office monkey. He is also the creator of Callum Innes, a Manchester-based PI, and Barry DeSilva, a PI based in Gateshead. THE BIG BLIND is his first novel. When not looking moody, Ray lives in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with his wife Anastasia, who doubles as his favourite editor. He currently works as a sales support assistant, but maintains his heterosexuality.
