I enjoyed writing MR. E for DC Comics. In some ways, it was a
change of pace from my novel writing, and in other ways, it was consistent. My writing has always had a pretty strong visual component to it, and I had been doing some screenplay writing around the same time, so I had gotten into the general swing of describing something that someone else in the collaborative process -- whether it's the camera operator or the graphic artist -- is supposed to visualize." - K.
