Terrific site! It's astounding, amazing, astonishing as well as thrilling to discover who shares my admiration for BJB. It's really wonderful to find someone who cares as much about his subject as you do. Barrington J. Bayley deserves all of the attent
on he can get. He really is very special. I have enjoyed all eleven of his books that I have found, but I have a special fondness for «Collision Course» and the «Pillars of Eternity». I haven't been able to find very many of his short stories, but «the
Radius Riders», «All the King's Men» and «The Bees of Knowledge» are extraordinary stories by any standard. They say that SF is the litterature of ideas, but it isn't true, save for the rare exceptions like BJB. James Blish once suggested (half seriously)
that SF stood at the confluence of philosophy, religion, science and art, a characteristic form of our epoch. If this is the case, Bayley is one of the few real practitioners of the form.
Once again, well done!

Your Bayley-site is excellent. I'm the editor of Finnish www-zine Aikakone (URL above) and have added your site to our links.
I personally have been a fan of Bayley for over 15 years, collected most of his works and introduced his work to the Finnish editor of Tähtivaeltaja-magazine Toni Jerrman who reprinted few of his short stories. We also reprinted "Radius Riders" in Aikakon
in 1989 (when it was still a printed semiprozine).
All the Best

Hi Juha
I've just checked out your BJB pages and I must say that it's good to see someone giving this great SF writer the attention he deserves.

Thanks for the interview! Neat page. Am glad to
see that I'm not the only person who reads and
enjoys BJB.

It's great to know that BB is back! Thanks for the site and interview, waiting for a new novel.

I am making a return visit after a long break and am truly impressed by the improvements. As a long-time BJB fanatic, I really appreciate your site as one of the all-too-rare sources of information about this incredibly under-rated writer...Is there anybo
y out there who can sell me a copy of 'Star Winds' or some of BJB's other earlier books?
I'll definitely be back!

I've known Barrington Bayley all my life (he's my brother), and although I'm not a fan of science fiction, I do respect his lifelong determination to remain a writer through good and bad times.

Finally decided to sneak a peek at your web site, given that you wave it in front of my nose out in the Fidonet MOORCOCK echo.

WWW thing. Jeez, I dunno.. it's pretty cool, but
